I've been curious about the Enneagram for a long time. (Therapists often use it in their work.) But until recently, I never made the time to explore its wisdom. When I started digging deeper and seeing myself reflected so clearly in the Type 2 personality, I immediately wanted to talk to Jessica. I knew she would help me understand what this meant for me given what I've been going through. Jessica Denise Dickson (she/her/hers) is a life empowerment coach who believes that when Black women heal, the world heals. She believes that the path to personal and collective healing comes through embodying our Enneagram and liberation work.
Jessica supports clients, through groups and one-on-one work, with the reclamation of our full humanity - healing work that leads us to equity, justice, and freedom. She believes as I do that when we change, we change the world.
Listen in on my conversation with Jessica as we explore how the Enneagram can help us understand ourselves on a deeper level, identify the parts of ourselves that need healing, and why doing growth work like this in community makes all the difference.
